New York City Hosts The Rug Show 2015 on August 30

Experts and dealers in the rug industry will come together before the end of August to celebrate rugs and their exquisite beauty.

The Rug Show, an annual trade show centered on rugs and carpets, will be unfurled on August 30. The three-day event is hosted by a non-profit association of industry manufacturers, importers and dealers with the objective of promoting the rug industry in the U.S. This year’s convention will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

The event organizers want to be transparent in their transactions with interested rug buyers, and that’s why the Rug Show “will be run by the actual exhibiting members in an open, communal manner so as to create the best purchasing environment for our industry’s customers,” according to the association.

Expect the best brands in the rug business to display their best and finest tapestries for everyone to see. Some of the rug companies who have confirmed attendance during The Rug Show 2015 include AZAD Rug Company, Michaelian & Kohlberg, Nasiri, Rugzy, Tufenkian, and Zollanvari.

The Rug Show concluded a highly successful event in Los Angeles in March 2015.
